*** SATISFACTORY PROGRESS APPEAL IMPORTANT DEADLINE: Appeals may only be reviewed for the current semester until 30 calendar days into the semester (starting from the first day of semester). Then, it will be reviewed for the following semester. The deadline for the Fall 2010 semester is September 21, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.

* If you need financial aid, you need to apply ASAP. The 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid forms are available in the Financial Aid Office or online at www.fafsa.gov. If you have already applied, then please check your SOAR Account (My Documents) to ensure all financial aid paperwork has been turned in and your award is processed for the fall.

****EXPECTING A CREDIT BALANCE CHECK FROM YOUR FINANCIAL AID???
Sign up for direct deposit so that your credit balance refund will be directly deposited to your bank account and you don't have to wait for a check. You can do so on SOAR: Business and Payment: Direct Deposit Student Refunds. Please make sure you check My Documents to ensure that all information is received to avoid any delays in processing and disbursement.

*If you plan to be less than full time for the fall semester or a December 2010 graduate, please notify the Financial Aid Office so your financial aid can be processed accurately.

* As long as you are enrolled in fall classes, you can go directly to the Bookstore and charge your books from Aug. 13 – Sept. 1. Please keep in mind that if you do not have financial aid left over after tuition is taken out, you will still be responsible for this charge.

NEW PROCEDURE: After the refund period, you will be responsible to pay tuition and fees for classes you have not dropped on SOAR! Not attending a class will not drop you from a class!
